Management
George W. "GW" Estep II - President and CEO
Mr. Estep has over 22 years of simulation software and business
development experience. He also has in-depth knowledge of Internet
software technologies gained through his time as Chief Technical
Officer at Riva Technologies. GW gained much of his simulation
experience in the Flight Simulation Laboratory at Lockheed Martin
(formerly General Dynamics). Mr. Estep received a Computer Science
degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1988.
Frederick B. Fleury - Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Fleury joined the company in 2001 with experience as an Information
Technology and simulation management executive. He has over 25 years
of experience in the management and architecture of simulation and
computer integration projects. In 1993, Fred co-founded and developed
an IT solutions company that was awarded two years on the INC 500 fastest
growing companies list. He provided project management to advanced
concepts within the Lockheed Martin Flight Simulation Laboratory from
1985 to 1993. Mr. Fleury received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
from Texas A&M University in 1985 and a Bachelor of Science in Physics
from Sam Houston State University.
Rob Hatcherson - Chief Software Architect
Mr. Hatcherson has over 29 years of software design and development
experience, and currently is ZedaSoft's chief software architect.
He most recently led the team that designed and implemented the
Container-Based Architecture used in most of ZedaSoft's simulation
projects. Rob spent 13 years at the Lockheed-Martin (formerly
General Dynamics) Flight Simulation Laboratory developing airframe,
avionics and environment models, followed by nine years in the business
sector designing object-oriented application architectures and
implementing them with Objective-C, C++, and Java. One of Rob's
primary interests is finding innovative ways to bring seemingly
incompatible technologies together to solve problems, and he's
spent the last several years looking for ways to apply design
approaches and technology from the business sector to the real-time
simulation problem domain. Rob received a Bachelor of Science in
Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University in 1981.
George "Pres" McGee - Vice President of Project Management
Prior to joining ZedaSoft in 2008 Pres spent 16 years at
Lockheed Martin, where he worked as an engineering project manager and
principal systems engineer for the F-16 and F-22. Prior to Lockheed
Martin, Pres worked for the Link Flight Simulation Division of the
Singer Company. His positions there included Director of Army/Navy Programs
and Director of Air Force Programs. Pres is retired from the
US Army; however he continues to provide ZedaSoft with army aviation
subject matter expertise. While on active duty his assignments included
the Advanced Attack Helicopter (AH-64 Apache) Assistant Program Manager
for Test and Evaluation, and Project Director for Army Cargo Helicopter
Simulators. He has logged over 3,000 hours of flying and completed multiple combat
tours in Southeast Asia. Pres served as the Program Chair and Conference
Chair of the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education
Conference (I/ITSEC). He holds a Bachelor of Science from The Florida
State University and a Master of Science Systems Management from The
University of Southern California.
Timothy Albin – Vice President of Business Development
Prior to joining ZedaSoft in 2007
Tim spent 15 years on engineering and senior staff
at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. He led the
national and international Pilot Vehicle Interface and Operations
Requirements development for the F-16, F-22 and F-35 programs. He
also has seven years experience in Special Access Program development
for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (Skunk Works).
Tim was the primary lead engineer in the development of Network-Centric
Operations for national and international tactical fighter programs.
Tim has 20+ years of USAF pilot
experience in F-4 and F-16 aircraft, and provides ZedaSoft with
fighter aircraft subject matter expertise. While in the Air Force he
held command positions
in USAF Fighter Weapons School, Test and Evaluation and operational
fighter wings.
