For Immediate Release ZedaSoft, Inc. Extends Its Reconfigurable Cockpit System (RCS) Simulator to Include High-Resolution Dome Visual Systems(Fort Worth, Texas – May 5, 2011) Fort Worth-based ZedaSoft, Inc. has partnered with Immersive Display Solutions, Inc. (IDSI) of Acworth, Georgia to provide a bundled solution incorporating the ZedaSoft RCS simulator including Experimenter Operator Station with an IDSI high-resolution, large field-of-view display and projection system.
"Our marketing partnership with ZedaSoft has significantly broadened our integration capabilities as a company" said George Forbes, President and Founder of Immersive Display Solutions, Inc. "The ability to design and install simple to operate, high resolution, multi-channel dome displays with ZedaSoft's reconfigurable cockpits continues to open up a new class of affordable systems that we can offer to our clients." ZedaSoft developed the Reconfigurable Cockpit System (RCS) solution to complement its patented simulation software framework, CBA® for Simulation. The RCS has been developed to provide the defense laboratory and business development marketplace with a cost-effective modular system that can represent multiple types of aircraft including the F-22A, F-18E, F-16C, AH-64D and OH-58D. ZedaSoft's new RCS provides a set of hardware building blocks that can be interchanged to simulate all of these aircraft types at a quarter of the cost of traditional defense simulators. The RCS family of simulators is a portable design with modular pieces that are designed to fit through standard office doorways. Great design care has been taken to allow the customers use of many standard simulator components and cockpit specific hardware. For additional information contact:
