F-15 Eagle
The F-15 simulation is an unclassified, public release version
of the F-15C avionics systems. This simulator was originally developed for
Lockheed Martin, who used it to demonstrate pilot air-to-air engagement
workload reduction between 4th generation (F-15C)
and 5th generation (F-22) aircraft.
The cockpit systems include the F-15C VSD radar display, TEWS radar
warning receiver, Head-Up Display, and aircraft gauges for flight, fuel and
engines.
Other users of this simulator include:
- The USAF Test Pilot School, for student workload comparisons between the F-15,
F-16 and F-22 cockpits
- The Boeing Company, as a role-player entity in their Virtual Warfare Center (VWC).
