ZedaSoft delivers Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) cockpit to Elbit Systems of America.

In November 2021, ZedaSoft was contracted to create a fully immersive reconfigurable cockpit system and simulator platform for Elbit Systems of America.  The simulator included a custom fabricated instrument panel to showcase Elbit’s Large Area Display (LAD), Electronic Flight Display (EFD), Heads Up Display (HUD), and Up-Front Control Display (UFCD). In less than two months we were able to deliver on this contract with a realistic cockpit, ejection seat, easily detachable side panels with HOTAS mounted on Dzus rails, and extra room for expansion panels. This delivery included a riser platform to place the pilot’s eyepoint at the proper location in their dome display as shown above.

Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2021

This past November, we were grateful to be back in person at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) to showcase our recent deliveries along with our future capabilities.  Our booth included an “as delivered to the USAF Academy Multi-Domain Laboratory (MDL)” display, showcasing one of the six UAS/RPA Drone simulators and one of the 24 Zuse Simulation Stations.  Lieutenant General Richard Clark cut the ribbon on this new Air Force Academy laboratory in September 2021.

Our booth also included Varjo’s new XR-3 headset integrated into our Zuse Simulation Station and our Mockingbird Drone Simulator.  It was great to see everyone in person!

Most recently on April 3-5, 2022 we teamed up with Bugeye Technologies Inc., PLEXSYS Interface Products Inc., HAVIK, Bihrle Applied Research Inc. and MVRsimulation Inc. to exhibit our Mixed Reality Apache Training simulator. The demonstrator is a single-seat Apache co-pilot configuration with a mixed reality Varjo XR-3 head mounted display. ZedaSoft provided the simulated OFP software and integration. A high-fidelity Apache flight model validated by the Redstone Test Center was supplied by Bihrle Applied Research. PLEXSYS integrated the Sonomarc simulated radio communications and VADAAR debriefing system. The Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) was provided by MVRsimulation, Inc. HAVIK provided a separate but integrated Virtual Reality JTAC trainer. This Apache training simulator and VR JTAC Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT) are closely integrated via the DIS protocol to demonstrate a complete CAS CFFT mission scenario.
